Default 2005 STR heater issue

Th driver side heating and cooling is working fine but the passenger side just pumps out heat. I've found this dual coolant flow valve part XR822975 that could be the issue. Any comments, any other possible causes? Thanks

See post #2 in that guide for details on how to test that suspect valve. Can't help with the replacement part number, but believe Bosch was the OEM supplier. Bosch brand valves are available from many suppliers. Stay away from no-name specials due to poor reliability.

Be sure to read the section of the guide about a failed valve also damaging the control module. While it can happen to all years, it is more prevalent on 2003+ models. You will see a link to an outfit offering repairs and upgrades to the module.
