Default 2006 3.0 s type sport coolant change

Good evening everyone. My car is now due for this change....and I was wondering what type of Coolant my car takes? Is it Dexcool that is in there? Or is it something dealer special.
Thank you so much in advance.

Almost as much debate as there is on oil!

I have Dexcool in mine, Zerex-G-05 is allegedly the same as the Jag OEM brand.

They are both good dex cool or zerex g5. The OEM coolant has a tendency to evaporate a bit over time and if you live in a hotter climates. I used to use the OEM coolant and had some issues with adding a little bit every month. No leaks any were just evaporating. I then switched to GM Dexcool and the level of coolant stays the same now.

Some have reported that dexcool eats gaskets...I don't have any experience with it...

That may depend upon the gasket manufacturer. I've run Dexcool in my wife's 2004 Lexus RX330 for years with no issues whatsoever....

Any other people use the Dexcool stuff.....or can I get the OEM coolant at a different place besides the dealer?
