2007 S-Type 4.2 -- How Expensive and hard Is This Repair?
Recently moved to the Myrtle Beach - Pawleys Island, SC area.
Took my 2007 S-Type 4.2 in for an oil change to a recommended indy shop.
Looking the vehicle over, the mechanic pointed out that the boot on the driver-side rear toe arm was cracked.
He gave me an estimate of $420.00 to repair it.
I know the boot is inexpensive but not sure how much labor is involved to R/R it.
Is the quoted estimate in the ballpark?
Any thoughts?
Thank you and kind regards,

A boot kit with boots, arms, and all the fittings for BOTH sides is less than $100 at three places. That means 320+ for labor. Doing one side with no alignment should take 30 minutes. If it includes both sides and an alignment, then it isn't so bad if the new arms are included too.
