I *just* held these in my hands. They feature a 'magnaflow' logo etched at the 12 o'clock position on the tips. If you 'angle' the tips to follow the contour of the rear bumper, this logo will be offset a bit. If you are the type of person that gets irritated when things aren't perfectly lined up... these tips might not be right for you. They did look awesome when held up to my car.

Hey Bro thats not true, I'm one of those perfectionist;you have to have a welder who knows what he's doing so he can get them angled perfectly. I'll try to take a pic this week and show you guys how they look like on my STR.

For sure! I'm not doubting that you can't align the tips up with the contour of the bumper. In fact, I plan to have the installer do that.

All I am saying is when your welder rotates the 15 degree cut tips slightly to match up the bumper contour.. the logo at the top of the tip will rotate with it.. and will not be at the 12 o'clock any more. So.. if you look down from the top.. it's wonky. It's not a big deal to me (and I am pretty picky) and the bumper obscures this some.

These tips look gorgeous though! Post pics!

Alrite nixx I had some time and took some pics for you to see. The Magnaflow engraving is like dead center at 12 o'clock to the naked eye,lolz...but the main thing I pointed out to the welder was not to keep it deep inside the cut outs and close because the heat will start fading away the paint, so he gave just enough space between the tip and the cut out; have a look.

No doubt anyone who get these types of tips will love them, makes the STR look meaner from the back

Great pics! They look great!

I think we're on slightly different pages! I was talking about rotating the tips so they are aligned with the curvature of the bumper when look at them from above. I think it will look nice.. but the Magnaflow logos will be off some. See my diagram below.. this is how I'm going to do mine:

Cool diagram! I really never thought about what you just described doing, I'm guessing it will look nice. The only way to see it actually is by doing it,lolz...But hey kudos to you for planning on it.

MyBlackCat, I installed Mina Galleries dual tip between 4-5 months ago. They looked cool but emitted a loud whistle under hard exceleration. They are actually two separate pipes but conjoined pipes that communicate with each other with a short side separating them...like a whistle. Opposed to a naturally aspirated engine a blown engine pumps out huge amounts of air, so when I gunned it She was blowin into a huge whistle. So off they went and on went 3 1/2" Flowmaster s/s tips. They look cool and sort of fill in the cut-outs. 4" tips should wrap it up...It's a friggin sickness!

Nixx; I picked up the same tips 6 months ago for my STR however, went with a twin wall 3 ½” stainless tip that IMHO looked better on the cars tail – Just an observation on the 35136 tips, they have a drain hole 180 degrees from the Magnaflow logo and may well show if rotated in the position you suggest.

Now having seen the 35136 tips on Jag79’s STR I want to change over - Damn you Jag79!
