ABS fault. Please help me out. What does this mean?

ABS fault. Please help me out. What does this mean?

Good thing I have Select Edition for backup. Anyways I was driving my car thru snow and ice, and the ABS light came on it said ABS Fault. What does this mean ? Is ABS simialar to the Electronic Stability Control ? I had ESP in the Benz, is this whats it like for the Jag ABS ?

ABS means Antilock Braking System. Most likely you had some snow stuck in your wheel or calipers.The ABSwarninghas temporarily showed up while I was rocking my car back and forth after a snow storm.

P.S. Using all CAPS in your titles is poor netiquette. It makes people think that you are shouting.

Well I started my car up again and the light shows up again. Im afraid that the dealership will try to hustle me outta money. I dont know what to do. Is their anyway I can reset this warning ?
