Hi all, I know this may be covered elsewhere but couldn’t find the problem I’m experiencing, I have the base sound system with touch screen nav but have all the wiring in the loom to add alpine, so what I have done firstly is leave the door speakers as is and add the 2 subs to the rear parcel shelf and the amp in the boot, now this is where the problem happens, once I turn radio on as soon as I move volume one notch the sound blares out, this is moving it from 0 to 1 on sound, surely this isn’t right? Is it because I haven’t fitted the alpine door speakers or have I missed something else, any help would be appreciated

 

basically yes. if you've fitted the amp you need the door speakers as they have tweeters in them. did it myself and experienced three same thing you have.
