Straight forward rnr is 7-8, add in that he's in allentown pa with al the salty roads and im sure the techs know how hard it is to free seized and rusted bolts from salty roads of the north and have to adjust times accordingly. I cant imagine doing my job on those cars everyday when you have to have a hot wrench(torch) in every stall. Screw extractors, bolts splitters, dremils and carbide cutters. Theyre are times ive works on cars from up north and spent more time breaking loose, cutting off and replacing bolts than i did doing the whole job on a clean rust free car. Glad i dont live in stlouis anymore

Check out this post #7 from Vader in Romania in this thread:https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...de-p0333-6702/

"Two weeks ago i have P0333 and P1111 error on my jag,i change the IMT o-rings,and i sealed with red silicone the upper and under intake manifolds o-rings.When i do that i blow out the isolation wich are put under intake manifold and i relocate the knock sensor. The new location for the knock sensor are in the back of the manifold.i eliminate the conection from the knock sensor(just cut the wires and put wires directly together and isolate with tape, just to be sure there is no wires conection error). After all of this job i start the engine and NO ERRORS,my jag run like new."

yes thats all fine and dandy when your not forced induction. but when you are and get some poor gas, or heat soak temps, high load like goig up a steep grade etc.... you dont want to find out you made a mistake doing that. its one thing to macgyver something when you have no parts or money. its something else to do that on your own car or someone elses. No disrespect, but Ive seen this kinda stuff on many Xtpyes over the years. would you want to buy a used car knowing this is the kind of work thats been done???
