Default A/C problem 2000 s type

My 2000 S Type will start out with cool A/C and then turn hot when its 100 out side what could be the problem?

It's 100 in Kent in March?
Maybe it's the external temp sensor?

HI Norri, the car is in florida so external temp can be 90 plus. Where is the external temp sensor ?

It's behind the front bumper, but is it showing an accurate temp on the climate display?

Have you had the AC pressures checked?

Yes the temperature display is giving an accurate reading and the compressor was replaced new last year . Had the Freon pressures checked, all OK

Next culprits would be the DCCV or CCM or both, a search will yield a lot of info.
