Cardone Remanufactured rear brake caliper issue with EPB
I replaced my rear brake calipers around 6 months ago with remanufactured calipers from Parts Geek. The original problem with the old calipers was the EPB arm would stick in the caliper. The EPB motor is fine, the cables would be lose when the arm stuck. A tap with a BFH would free the arm off and all was well.
Now the LH side remanufactured caliper EPB arm is hanging up in the caliper again and I'm back to the BFH solution if I forget to leave the EPB off when I shut down the car. It will free up if I drive for a 1/4 mile or so and apply the brakes a couple of times. Has anyone else had issues with A1 Cardone remanufactured Jag brake components ? I'm going to have a go at getting a replacement caliper under the warranty.
Yes, I did wind the pistons home and go through the factory EPB calibration procedure.
