Has anyone used this in their S-Type? According to their product data sheet it meets the Shell M1375.4 standard...

 

There's another post a guy posted a howto change tranny fluid. You have to cut an allen. I'd use a full synthetic if I changed it...

 

I guess what I'm getting at here is I can't find a fluid that is a suitable replacement for what the dealer sells. There's a few people that say "this should work" or "that should work", but when checking the fluid info, the one's mentioned don't meet the Shell standard as specified by S-Type manual OR they're referring to the older S-Type transmissions which use a different fluid.

 

What year, engine size and tranny (manual/auto) do you have?

 

2004, 3.0, auto... I believe its the ZF6 speed.
