As above, I have a black cotton-covered wire with a white plug in my boot and can't find anywhere where it should plug in.

It goes from the rear bulkhead just right of the rear number plate and terminates in a plug. All the lights appear to work perfectly including the number plate lights, so I've got no idea what it's for ?????

I believe that is the shipping wire that is hooked up throughout the vehicles shipping period to keep the battery maintained.
