Hi guys....it'e me again the pain,
The nearside inner rear door latch is stuck open, and now i can not lock the rear door,iv.given it a spray in all orifices i can find...but to no avail, any ideas guys.....?

 

Most likely you need a new lock actuator. There are many posts about it, also a DIY w/pics in the "How To" subdirectory.

 

After a liberal spray of WD 40 and a bit of jiggery pokery , and lots of opening and closing, even a drive around the block to activate the auto lock.....it just simply pushed in with no effort....? It will remain locked until i have the nerve to open it again.

 

It's the gravitational effect of parking your car like this .....
