Using SDD, I see it say that Dynamic Stability Control is not fitted on my 06 STR. Isnt DSC standard? I have a switch to turn it on and off???? Why does it say not fitted? Is than an SDD option to get it fitted?
I get the same for my 06 str with sdd...no clue why, but i know i have the dsc feature....it is like ccf corrupt that always is there....probably a glitch in the files
I think you may find that SDD may not find all the modules if the battery voltage is not high enough. (SDD will give you the voltage.)
Also I think that SDD may not find the modules if they require an update or if they have an update that is newer then the version of SDD you are using. (If you are using v130 then it will be unlikely be the later.)
In this case you may find an update in the campains section of SDD.
However I would strongly recommend against running any updates using SDD unless you have a problem. Just for a start you need to have a powerful stabilised power supply connected to the battery to stop the voltage going down during programming that can take some time.
Jaguar recommend a 50 amp power supply, I have a 20amp variable voltage stabilised power supply that I use, even so I would only run an update if I have a fault, if everything is working as it should it is not worth taking the risk as any interruption during programming can destroy the modules on the car.
Others with more experience with SDD than myself may know more.
