Hi, I am very likely replacing the engine on my 2008 S-Type V6 3.0 . I been working on dropping the engine and will know for sure. My question is: What are some suggestions on things I should replace while I'm at it; and have the room on the engine bay and the engine is outside? The engine that busted had 54K and Im looking at few from 45K-65K ........Im guessing the water pump will be one? What about oil pump? timing chains, timing chains tensioner, timing guides, heater valve, belt, anything typically going bad, etc.? What would be worth doing now to prevent costly repairs in the future if I'm planing on keeping the car for a while?
