Has anyone purchased an extended warranty from any of the "online" companies and have had good success dealing with repair issues with them? I am looking at a couple of companies out of Ohio and they want about $1000 - 1500 for 3-4 year/36K-48K additional miles on current odometer reading.

 

What kind of coverage do they offer?

 

If you are within the time frame and below 50k miles i would suggest purchasing the Jaguar extended warranty. My select edition warranty was about to expire so I made a call to my local dealer and I purchased a 3 year factory extension for ~$2,300.00. I have heard horror stories about third party warranty companies. and the worst ive heard are the warranty companies that make you pay up front for the repair then reimburse you.

This quote is after putting in my 2000 S Type w/75K on it . . . just picked the car up a couple of weeks ago and getting nervous after reading all the horror stories about this car.
