Hello:

From time to time...My Factory Stereo in my S-Type will Mute itself and sometimes will not power on...It will eventually come on after driving for a while...I checked the Fuses, disconnected the Battery...does not solve the problem...It can work great for weeks at a time ...Does the unit have to be replaced or is it the wiring? ..When it Malfunctions, controls on the Steering Wheel cannot be used...When functioning correctly...all controls work...Steering Wheel and on the Unit itself.
