My 04 lives in the garage now, but I had great success with a car cover when I had to park my previous cars in the sun at work in Boca Raton. Yes, the car cover is a PITA but I thought it was worth it. You really have to watch the weather to avoid having to put a wet cover in your trunk after an afternoon shower in the Florida summer!

Robin, that's a thought. Where would I go to purchase that material?

Several years ago when I moved house, gave the removers a nice tip and asked them where they got the cladding. They said "Never mind, just have these". Way to go! So I'm not sure what kind of store would sell cladding blankets, but any dressmaker could put them together. Everything is cotton, nice and soft and light.

I have a garage now, so don't need protection from the sun anymore, but still find many everyday uses for the blankets. Attached pic will give you an idea.

I found a car cover on ebay that looked like it will do the trick. The original dilemma of course was to decide which car got the garage. Here's a picture of the choices. I think I made the right choice on that one.

Nice stable!

I think you made the right choice. My zircon STR does not agree.

Interesting collection of covers on eBay. Did you get the 7-layer cover that's washable, waterproof and fleece-lined?
