I have not been on here for some time now...
I need some help PLEASE... My 01 S-Type with 85k miles on it has been makeing a noise in the front and rear when i go over any bump... like ratteling. I have been doing some research here and some say the strut mounts or some say the actual struts how can I narrow it down..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

or simply the sway bar bushings..visual inspection will reveal all... jack up the front, put those jack stands under there, grab your flashlight and look. Old ones with the split on the bottom or inferior to the newer side-split ones. Mine were deteriorated and sway bar could be moved by hand and bounce off the cross member.
