Idle: at least 40 psi (ideally closer to 45+psi) anything under 40 psi after turning ignition on (before engine start) is a red flag!

Not a 3.0 expert but I know I'm in the ball park.

Remember there is no static fuel pressure reading because it's based on intake pressure/vacuum. So at idle it will be about 40 psi and when you rev the engine it will jump around.

Do you have a problem or just checking fuel pressure?
