I have a 01 type S and my driver door module went can I buy one off of ebay and just get it put in or do i need to go to the dealer?

The unit is not a plug and play. You will need to find the VCATS sticker in the trunk of the car. On that sticker is a series of 3 digit codes. I would suggest you provide the number off your original module, the corresponding VCATS code, and the VIN number. That should be enough information. Should be....

 

Well i looked at the Vcats sticker but for the DDM the # are rubbed out how can i find these # other wise
