Hey guys, yesterday I did a bumper to bumper wash on the jag, and I can now eat off of the engine. However, the car is running really sloppy and it feels like the distributor is wet. The check engine light is flashing and the car is extremely slow. Has anyone experienced anything similar or know what is going on with my baby?

 

Doesn't that have coil-on-plug (no distributor)? Might have gottenwater past the coil boots. Try removing and blow out around the plugs with compressed air. Dab some dielectric grease in and around the coil boots when you put them back. I'm no expert, but it may help.Good luck!
