From what I hear there aren't really any HID kits available right now. I think some people buy the HID projector housings and install, and find some type of way to lock the headlight adjustors in place.

not really - hardest part is dropping the front bumper to get to the bolt to take out the headlight assemblies.

I used the Digital setup by Xtralights.com. Not cheap but the best, I would say A plug and play just about. Very easy install.

How does the light output work post install? I know when I did mine on my SC400, the light output wasn't that great unless you did a TSX projector swap, or another type of projector swap.

My lights work great. Night and day to what I had. I guess you get what you pay for in some things.

LOL well I suppose that's reassuring to hear. I didn't bother to go HID because I heard that it was the same for pretty much any application you do it on. It'll be improved, but it won't be as nice as they could be, because the lense is designed for a halogen bulb, and not a xenon one.

Well I'm glad to hear that! I have an 03 and not an 02, but hopefully it won't be much different if I ever make the swap over. For now, I just want to get my STR wheels, and see about these brake noises being fixed.

So mep, how'dyou get the HID bulbs to fit in the headlight housing? Did you have to cut the headlight housing to fit the HID bulbs in since the lenses were made to fit the halogen bulbs.

They make kits that have HID rebased H7 bases. No cutting of the housing required.

Or, you could just get HID headlight assemblies and wire them in. The leveling will not work, but they can still be adjusted manually for proper aiming.
