I know it's been talked to death but.......

I'm having problems programming my Homelink transceiver..actually, it's more like I'm having trouble keeping it programmed. I have two garage door openers that use scrolling codes. I followed (precisely) the instructions in my owners manual. I'm able to operate one garage door from my visor remote without issue. When I program the second opener, I lose the programming for the first one and vice-versa.

Anyone else ever experience this? [&:]

 

your not following the procedure to clear all positions first are you? i know it explains a way to delete or "clear" the previous entries before the programming step.

 

Yes..that's exactly what I was doing...doh![&:]I was pressing both outer-most buttons and clearing the memory prior to programming the next opener. All is good now! Thanks!

 

...and the range on the Homelink transceiver is sick...My driveway is over 800' ft long and I can open my garage doors from beyond the end of it..for whatever benefit that is!
