Default How do you step out of your car?

This problem is extremely annoying, everytime I step out of my car the bottom of my pants get dirty from the damn car, anyone know some way to get out besides the obvious 'clean the car'?

HA HA!

I usually take my pants off, throw them through the sunroof onto the hood of the car, get out, and put pants back on, using my key to activate said procedure above. Got my wife that way...

Dude, dirty pants are the new thing, just like holes on the knees were in the 80's.

Wash your car more, my sh*t is always clean enough to eat dinner off of.

Just messin with ya, but here are my suggestions:

1) take one GIANT step out with your left leg
2) wear skin tight pants, or just tights
3) dukes of hazzard method
4) stop off-roading with your Jaguar

Great thread! I checked to see what I do, and I found that I have long enough legs to avoid this, so... you could grow. Or, instead of cleaning the car on a regular basis, next time you do wash it, spend the extra two minutes on the door jambs, especially the lower portion that you see when you step out. This portion of the car takes longer to get dirty. I don't keep my "sh*t" super clean all the time as I put about 23k a year on it, so I can't wash it all the time. That and I live in the Pacific Northwest, so, wash it, and then watch it rain and get all nasty again.

I had the same problem.
Decided to wear shorts ALL the time, any weather.

Boss hates the look of my shorts with dress shoes and black sox,but said it looks better than my long pants with dirt on the back of the legs.
Try it.

I crawl over the console into the back seat. I then remove the section of the seat with the pass thru into the trunk(boot); wriggle into the trunk(boot) then activate the emergency trunk(boot) release because by now I have lost my keys. Then I just hop like a little bunny out of the boot(trunk) and search for my lost keys. Alternatively, I drive in my hip boots(not trunks).

Try wearing a mini-skirt...
But then you'd be showing all you've got...

I was going to post a clever way of not getting your pants dirty while exiting your car, but I **** my pants laughing at the other responses, so nevermind.
