I bought my first jag when I was 17 or 18. Only kept it a few months...it was a nightmare, a 85 xj12. Now that I'm older, 26, and wiser, I got something much nicer. My 2004 XJR

lol, yes and when i got a letter from the hoa on it. My response was, "i dont see anyone else with a $2000 porsche wheel for a hose reel, so i wont complain that everyone else has a cheap plastic/metal one since not everyone in the neighborhood can afford such and expensive hose reel"
i never got another letter about it

I'm 59 and rapidly sneaking up on retirement. Brutal, did the guy that complained about the wheel own a Porsche by any chance? It certainly is a lot more unique than the usual cheesy hose reels or buckets.

Guess I fit the stereotype - I'm 63. Bought my first Jag 7 years ago, and, now, I've had 3.

Bought my R back in January at 22 as a college graduation present to myself. Absolutely a joy to drive, the ladies love the car and there is absolutely nothing better than smoking an Evo, WRX or new Camaro at the stoplight!

I've been holding off posting here waiting for someone to join me in that "oldest category". Looks like I'm the only old fart here.
I got my Jag as a gift from my wife for surviving a stent operation late last June and 3 weeks after her father died. She had a pretty rough month. All is well now and I'll probably be around for another 40-50 years or long enough to be a real PITA to my daughter and son...
