infinity bass link?
I have the alpine with navi in my 03 stype r and want to add a little bass, anybody use one of these? and did you use the speaker line level inputs or the pac rcs adapter too hook it up?
Not worth it.
Buy or build a small box. Buy a decent sub, and amp.
I ran both a CC road shop, and BB install bay. The bass link is just not quite enough bass for a bigger luxury type car like the s-type.
The battery is in the turnk so running a power and ground are easy. I would use a piece of equipment like the jl audio clean sweep to get your signal. You never know what kind of factory eq is at work in these cars. Worst case you can tap into the factory sub with just a LOC.

If all you want is a little bass, then the Basslink is perfect. I have one in my Magnum SRT8 which is huge and the bass fills the cabin, but the Jag is different because you have to actually enclose it in the trunk area in which it probably smother the sound greatly compared to my wide open cabin.
The Basslink should be plenty. In order to maximize the already minimal trunk space I bought an Acura RSX factory Bose subwoofer that fits in the spare tire. In order to allow a little more bass to come through from the trunk you can remove the stock subwoofers on the rear deck.
