Default Jaguar s type 2006 Headlight Bulb 5w5 T10 Staying On when Car is off.

My 2006 jaguar s type has 71k miles I just installed led lights for the low beam high beam and the 5w5 t10 bulbs in the top corner to LED but the t10 bulbs stay lightly dimmed when car is off and lights are off if anyone can help I’d be appreciative thanks!

Just a guess, but your S-type may not be totally happy with the electrical properties of LED lights that were never considered in the circuit parameters when the electrical system was designed back in the late 1990s. Did it do this when you had OE bulbs in place prior to the "upgrade" ?

seems that the lights turn off after a couple minutes should be fine I don’t think then being dim when driving will be much of a problem but I agree most likely not happy with the led lights considering the car is old but the light worked just fine for high beams and low and it looks great now.
