Hello, my 2007 jaguar S type Engine is locked. My friend has an engine 3.0 v6 for a 2005 s type, will a 2005 engine fit on my 2007 ?

If so, what needs to be done? Which sensor need to be swapped, ect...

In theory it should fit, tell us more about the cars though.

 

Go to Ebay and search for a replacement engine for your '07. You'll see what other years may fit. Wreckers/Breakers use the expensive Hollander system for interchanging parts, including complete engines. You'll get it for free by using this method.
