Hello everyone, I have jaguar s type v6 2.5 petrol and I cannot drive with it more then 2miles without high engine temperature sign. I already changed thermostat and water pump and it looks like getting worst. Thats strange coz before I changed water pump it was or at least look better. But funniest part is that you can drive one day without high engine temperature sign and next day you can get it each 500 yards. Could somebody help my, coz I already spend some money on it and I dont want to take it for scrap.

Well, if you have no air in the system then the next place to check would be the temperature sensor.

 

I thought the same thing but wasnt sure about that. But if you said that ill try it coz ill take my jag tomorrow for service again. How much do you need to overheat it?
