Default King of Ebay

I have always done 90% of my shopping via ebay...But since I have bought the jaguar My wife has deemed me "King of Ebay"

Here are some of the purchases I have made via Ebay for the Jag.

2005 s type 4.2---Ebay price $6,000
S type painted rear spoiler---- $85.00
Borg Warner o2 sensor -----$19.95
Cd repair manual----$1.92
Clear side repeaters---$11.16
Like new 2006 steering wheel---$125
Headlight chrome rings--$40
Brand new Delphi o2 sensor retail $249----bought for $40.00
a set of 8 Denso ignition coils from a 2005 with 52,000 miles---$12.00 a piece
a set of 8 Brand new in unopened Jaguar factory packages fuel injectors--$99.00 total.

There are alot of other bits and pieces but you kinda get the idea why she deemed this title on me..

Am I addicted?

Excellent work Your Highness.

In the view of this court jester, thou hast rationalized ye olde addiction rather well by saving many a shilling.

Nope... I'm probably much worse because I buy AND sell there. Mostly laptops, iphones and other electronics. I'm starting to get into craigslist as well. It's a toss up as far as if it's better to deal with ebay / paypal / shipping vs local people.

Which spoiler did you buy? Pics?

Thanks,

George

Looks good, I think Rick has the same one.

I NEED to find pics of it on the older 03 Trunk.

Out of curiosity, do you remember how long it took from wehn you ordered for it to arrive?

Take care,

George

Also can you send a link for the repair manual on CD? I would really like that as well.

Thanks

With the exception of the purchase of a single car,(sold on ebay) every other vehicle transactiuon I have made since 2002 has been through ebay, and 95% of parts as well. Actually come to think of it. 95% of everything I buy/sell is on ebay...it is addictive... feedback is at 570 right now.
most expensive transaction $ 22,000
least expensive 99 cents. I had placed a bit on an upgrade for my AMG at the time and then forgot to track...to my surprise it never got bid on again.. 99 cents for a $ 180 retail item !

The spoiler is attached via 3m tape. I just used a tape measure and to measure where to put it.. It took me 3 mins to install.

Definitely local.

Shipping is a killer, especially when the seller pulls the old trick of printing a shipping label so the tracking number shows up, but then waits several days before physical shipment.

Ebay from a local seller who allows pickup is good.
