It depends upon how long you allow the unit to drain after you have removed the pan. If you allow an hour or two of drainage, 6 litres of fresh ATF is typically enough. If you allow the unit to drain overnight, you may need 7 litres (or even a little more) of fresh ATF....

Mine took a little over seven. And be sure to follow the technique to fill to the correct level.

Mine took 6.4 I let it drain for several hours ,
I also jacked the car up on all sorts of angles which helped also turned the engine a couple of times , there is a sweet spot when spinning the engine that gets a good bit more from the torque converter, but i guess the steel pan will be differant to some degree , obveastly not by much .
I waisted a small amount whilst levelling it off , as I done that twice on two heat cycles to be sure !
+7 litres is the most I've heard of as from this thread , prior to that the most I've seen added was under 7 litres across many treads . But one thing I noticed across all the threads I read on the subject , is everyone puts in a slightly diferent amount back in to achieve the same result , so there is no science to it bar luck . The more you get out and in the better !
