Hello,

Does anyone happen to have a procedure for R/R of a 2000 S-type V8 DCCV valve? All the procedures that I've read were for V6. I haven't even find where the DCCV for the V8 is yet.

I would think both were the same. I did my 2000 3.0 if you care to look at it.

Just as Gus mentioned but with less working room.

Have fun, I just changed my 2005, 3.0 DCCV out in 20 minutes.

 

That's a beautiful write-up Gus, as well as your other write-ups. I've read it many times. Is the DCCV valve behind the passenger side head-light? I thought I saw a gleam of it (not sure), if that's it I don't think it can be r/r from the top. Thanks though.

 

I always change them from the top side.
