Looking advise on installing crankshaft main bearings for 02 S-Type 4.0 engine
Has anyone here ever use dummy caps to install the crankshaft main bearings on a S-Type 4.0 engine, Is this a tool that you really don't need, I have the torque specs for the bed plate that bolts the crankshaft bearings would It be safe not to use this tool or is this a must have tool to install the crankshaft bearing properly if this is so could someone please 
tell me where i can purchase these caps the tool number is JD 220 Dummy main bearing caps (5 each )
any help will be appreciated
