Low side a/c valve????

Low side a/c valve????
Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and have a 2002 Jaguar S-type. I noticed my A/C doesn't get very cold, and so I was thinking of recharging it. The only issue is...I can't find the darn low end valve. The high end valve is in front of my face. Can anybody tell me or show me where it is? Also, any other A/C suggestions?

If you have a 4.0L V8 car it is located on the A/C compressor (Driver Side underneath) where the lines go in.
If you buy one of the recharge kits that have the 90 degree end on the side that clips onto the fitting you should be able to do it by laying on the pavement with the wheel turned.

Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you for the great information on where the lower valve for the a/c was...we did not have any success getting any coolant into the car...the tip wouldn't fit. 
So off to the store again tomorrow...I am thinking the tip was defective...or at least i am hoping that's all it was...looks like a pretty standard valve...
