Didn't they explain the policy about diag. charges and have you sign an agreement before they started looking at your car? For your sake I hope that they don't void the remainder of your warranty.

Hopefully you do this you so can stop posting useless threads about how to get your headlamps covered by warranty.
This is what I did for a customer in the situation you are in.
Disassemble your headlights and JB weld the pivot points. Approx time of repair 3-4 hours.
All you need is a Heat Gun.

Wow. I've just only buggered off for a week or two, and so much going on! I'd just make the recce that FB2JB2BB2J invest in the labour it takes to make the STR tip top. That, or have a good sized drink and half bottle of Ritalin.

You created your own problems here. You lied, use different names, bashed our car,(meaning Jaguar). I find I have a love hate relationship with my Jag sometimes, but I would'nt get rid of it because the of the way I feel driving it. The car is all class. When I was looking to buy I learned about all the problems I may incounter, but I wanted the car. Got on a plane went to Oka and drove the car home to N.J.
Even now, you argue withthe guys. Some have posted even now some ways onhow to fix your headlights without buying new onesAlso you don't have to take the bumper off to change the bulbs, you doif your going to take out the headlight assembly.Do you listen no you argue. Fix them and be done with it and enjoy yoursharp car.This is the best forum to learn about your car and I have found that the guys here will help you as much as possible. The best part is there are guys here that really know their ****.
You bash techs who are your best info. I have seen post here, whereguys have repaired their headlights, can't believe some of the things they've done. To me what you did at the dealer about the fee, show the kind of person you are.

I appreciate you guys encouraging him to buy a benz and just STFU but we don't want him over on MBWorld either. Maybe we can work out an arrangement where some of us organize a Jaguar-suspension group-buy or maybe even just a blatant cash-buy-off or something and you guys can convince him to buy a Mustang or Camaro or something?...I think I can get together a couple grand from just a few of us over there - otherwise we're going to have to deal with "AMG's are slow because the seat-heater went out." that kind of deal.

He was on the benz forum bashing the jag soon as he bought the jag are you kidding me! LOL!!! Actually he was on mbforum bashing me as well! I went on there and put a stop to that! They were bashing him pretty hard core, a lot worse than we ever did to him! The word troll comes to mind! Pretty sure they all called him that! Guys on mbforums were accepting to me explaining the situation though!
