I was wondering about the possibility of running a block-heater cord through a mesh grille.

Does anyone have personal experience running a block-heater cord with the mesh grille? (please share!) I would really like to find a suitable option... wether it's running it through the hood itself, the mesh grille, or even thought the lower mesh grill.


I looked around and couldn't find any answers, so I emailed the source. Here's what I asked, followed by their response.

This is a parts (The grille is) that comes standard on some models so it should not affect that option, which I know is available on some models.

So you will not have a problem with this part hindering your block heater.
