Misfire trouble was getting p0301 now it's p0420

Switched out all plugs when I got p0301 and boots.
Still got it after switching plugs so I switched out the #1 coil.
Now I'm getting p0420 and it runs rough at stop lights and while idling.
Could the p0420 be caused by the cam/valve cover gaskets?
I also haven't checked if the breather hoses have collapsed under neath the lower intake.
Does anyone have a list of all the faulty hoses, gaskets, and sensors that are known to go bad on these 2000-2001 s types. I'd like to get all the well known problems out of the way first.
I'm pretty sure this car never had the recalls fixed because I had my left lower ball joint snap on me.

I have no idea about the codes (actually, about any codes), but I'm having the same problem you are... I'm going to try cleaning the throttle body right now, and hopefully it works - I'll let you know!
