My CAR Is ALIVE!!!!!!!
Omg.... im very frustrated now... two nights ago somebody broke my back window the one opposite to the windshield... and since i got it fixed wich is yesterday my car is acting weird.. 5 minutes after i lock the car with the alarm everything starts to work, meaning the lights turn on and off, the steering wheel starts to move, the alarm sounds, interioir lights turn on and off as well.. so i disconnected the battery and connected back n then drove the car for a long distance thinking this might of fix the problem but IT DIDNT!!! has this happened to anyone?? i need more info about this plz help!!!!

My reply may sound like a cop out, but I would take it to a dealer. It sounds like it could be a couple of things. I've learned that these cars have some very sophisticated control modules. The battery may be going bad, the alarm could be acting up, or one of the modules is bad or confused. The wheel moving up and down sounds like a confused module since it is designed to move as a reaction to turning the car off and on. I hope you get it sorted soon...

That window may have an overlooked sensor not connected and/or the defrost connections done incorrectly. I would bet on the window replacement and start there. I now defer to the experts...
how long did you disconnect the battery for. I had some 'gremlins' like lights staying inside, alarm not working, etc that was cleared with a long battery discon, or a hard reset (brutal's touch the negative to the positive terminal briefly procedure)
IF the window is not the cause, try a hard reset.

As brutal would put it, simply remove the negative cable, and touch it to the positive one briefly (while it's still connected). This will discharge ALL capacitors and anything stored in memory on the car. It wouldn't hurt to try it...as it's free.

Hey make sure when your turning the vehicle off that switching it off all the way to the left hard. On some older s type the ignition can stay on or off or in between causing ignition turn on and keep things working and setting off ur alarm. The barre and switch wear out overtimes . Try hard to the left while turning it off and see what happens .
