Default my drivers seat just stays in the memory position....

Good evening everyone....and I have to tell ya...this thread rocks...so much useful information that has helped me now for the almost 2 years I have owned my car.
This issue I am having today....when I enter or leave my car - the seat memory just stays in the same positiion....it used to move as soon as the key was out of the ignition...and also when I started the car....
I checked the manual....did what it said....but maybe I missed something....I don't know...I tried exactly what it said a few times and thought I would come here!

thank you in advance...and for all you Canadians......Happy Thaksgiving!!!

Is the switch on the steering column in the right position?

"DPM" Drivers Position Memory:

"If the seat memory does not recall correctly, the seat may require to be recalibrated. This may be due to an interuption in the electrical supply.

To recalibrate the seat it should be powered fully forwards and backwards and fully upwards and downwards".
