Need help with a missfire issue
I have a 2003 STR. I used a code scanner and I got a missfire on all cylinders. The spark plugs are brand new and 4 of the coil packs are new. When the car is cold it starts fine but missfires at idle. When it is warm, you have to give it gas to start it. Any idea of what may be causing the problem? I have a JTIS manual CD but it won't work anymore so I can consult that.

Well Im assuming that the car ran fine before the spark plug and coil pack change. So my best guess would be that the spark plugs are perhaps not gapped properly. (Most plugs are pre-gapped)
Or if you got yourself a set of Iridium plugs and checked the gap on them, it would have damaged the little Iridium tip on the end of the plug.
A misfire on all cylinders is a really rare thing to happen. So it would pretty much rule out some of the more major mechanical bits (such as a piston ring).
Did you connect the right coil pack to the correct cylinder?

Plugs are iridium so I did not try to gap them. The problem happened before the new plugs. The coils were put on the correct cylinders because it is pretty much impossible to not put them on right because of the length of the wires that connect to them. I think I'm going to bring it to a mechanic but I know that is going to cost a fortune.
