Need help please
I have to put a Alternator on my 07 S-type 3.0l 6 cylinders Jaguar.
I have the part. I can't get to work and don't want to lose my job.
Can anybody get me the directions to do this?
I am not the best at repairing cars but I will follow good directions.
I was told that this is the best place for help.
I am in a desperate situation.
my number is 937-951-6417 cell
or just get me the directions on how to do it.
If you are in the area I will pay you to do it. I live in Xenia Ohio.
Please Help.
Thank you in Advance

From the Department of Unsolicited Advice, don’t make the situation worse by trying to do any repairs under panic conditions. Arrange a ride with a friend or Uber to get to work. Take some pressure off yourself.
With a failed alternator, you can fully charge the battery and then still drive a short distance. Minimize the electric load by turning off the HVAC. Drive during daylight if possible so you don’t need lights. This should let you get the car to a shop if you prefer a mechanic does the job for you.
On my ‘02, the alternator failed one morning on the way to work. I hooked up a charger at the office and then drove home (26 miles) that afternoon with no issues.

That an ‘02, so some minor details may be different, but it should be close. Please see my comments wishing I had raised the car higher for better access.
