I am a 7 year jaguar driver and love it... (love saying it hahaha) anyways, I Have a 07' STR and my leaper from the bonnet fell off (unkown on how it happen). So I noticed on other sites for Jaguars they have the jaguar leaper in Chrome black, wanted to say whats everyone opinion and also if someone has one, never seen one, My car is black on black so it would go perfect, any comments on this guys?

Very cool. I've a black on black X350 and have extra bumper blades. Would like to do a set of those in black chrome along with the leaper.

 

that would be nice, Do you know where they can do that? Thats another reason why i dont know if I should get since the blades are chrome but the chrome black leaper is pretty unique and sleek

 

I'm not sure exactly where to get black chrome done, maybe any chrome plating facility. The bumper blades are plastic on top of it. Don't know if that would impact rechroming in black in a traditional process.

All that said, I think just doing the leaper, leaving everything else chrome would look good by itself.

 

Is a black leaper a Jaguar or a Panther ? (only kidding !).

I think it would look really nice on a black car, but the little neds might be after it unless it's well bolted down.
