Just purchased my first Jag! I leased a X-Type a few years ago and liked the car. I just purchased a 2005 S-Type and so far so good. Even though to car was used,the dealer fixed several minor problems free of charge.The car has about 75,000 miles on it and I would like to know what common issues I should be looking for in the near future.

Like all cars - its pot luck on how good or bad your one is and like all cars the S Type has its little (and sometimes big) foibles. Have a good look through the forum you will get the accumulated knowledge and wisdom of many happy and unhappy S type owners , and this state changes back and forth with their problems
Often the issues that arise can be fixed by the advice given on the forum, anyway relax and enjoy the car ...... you never know you may have the ''perfect one'' ...

 

I second what he said..
Only issue with mine is that it sits more then I can be out driving!
Sometimes I hate responsibility. haha
