NO HEAT!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I just purchased a 2001 S-Type with 80k miles... I noticedone morning that my carwas blowing cold air instead of heat..... My A/C is working fine. I looked under the hood and found out that the coolant is below the MIN mark.... is that the problem or is is something worse????

As long as you can see coolant in the reservoir..that ain't the problem..It is more than likely a damper control door stuck closed inside the car behind the dashboard on the HVAC system..and yes, it is a pain to get at.

I would make sure that you do not have a cracked expansion tank as it's a common fault, fill it back to the full level and check for loss of fluid, you may see it dripping behind the wheel.
Another possibility for the loss of heat may be the heater control valve, if you do a search you should find a lot of information. Good luck.
