Norri and I are wandering around aimlessly and Chris is still snoozzzzzzing!

As far as lunch Norri and I were thinking somewhere in pittsburgh.

BTW norri I am down in the lobby again.

 

I'm off the mark. I expected to be half way there by now, I haven't left Maryland. What time are drinks and eats this evening / tonight

 

We can wait up for you if you are gonna be a little late. Not sure who else is coming in today. Norri Rick Jason and I are grabbing lunch but we will check the boards here and there.

 

Where is everyone that said they were coming??? We are set up waiting.

 

i went to the restaurant but nobody showed up there. So i went back to the house, let me know whats going on. Had a great lunch with you guys!!!!

 

Just back from the Triumph run. Great day and shakedown run for the Jag. Sort of out of place with all the old TRs but everyone liked it. One other Jag there but it was a 4.2 E Type Coupe. It sure was an unfair advantage. Odometer that registers perfect, no shifting gears and when the one dark cloud loomed, I mentioned we didn't need to erect the top...just push three buttons. But alas it never rained. BTW, we are still learning what all these buttons do. It's more fun than reading the owners manual.

Stoped at the beer dist and were greeted by a bunch of whopping it up high school kids. Be careful out there guys. Seems to be a rite of graduation time to see if you can kill yourself. We are secured in the bunker for the evening. I'll swing out again in the morning to see what's going on before the show.

I just got back from the Graduation 500 trip - gonna conk out here shortly and be on the road in the morning - it's about and hour or so for me to get to the Hampton - see ya at 8:30 a.m.

It might rain tonight, hopefully it will hold off and the roads will be dry in the morning.

 

My STR is being an ***. Ive got a gearbox fault and heat coming out of the vents

 

Well we are up to three at the Hampton. Sorry Jason we just stayed at the hotel last night. We will get some more pics tomorrow once everyone meets up to head to Linden Hall. Here's what we got at the Hampton so far.

 

Gotta pack the cooler for Olivia, get cleaned up, and I will be on the road... See everyone at the show!

Rick managed to pick up a new vehicle yesterday while we were visiting Jason in his shop.

 

Check out the beading on that awesome quartz STR. That guy must be awesome.

 

Just back from the show. We had a great time enjoyed meeting you all. Hope you guys have a safe trip back. Better photos to follow I'm sure.

 

Thanks for the photos Jim! I had a great time today - glad to meet all of you. Big thanks to Jim and Jason for helping out with stuff on this end - I think everyone had a great time. The weather turned out to be really good the rest of the day, just a little touching up when we got to the show and everyone was looking great. I burned the heck out of the back of my neck - so I am the quintessential "red neck" right now.

Safe travels back home Rick, Norri, Chris, and David - Jeff I missed you when you left but thanks for coming and I hope you had a good time, great meeting you. Jason I'm sure we will cross paths sooner or later.

The event was really well attended with both Jaguar and Corvette owners representing very well - some really cool cars and interesting folks. There had to be over 100 cars or very close to it. I can't wait to see some of the pics David took with his camera. David you should change your handle to Inspector Gadget! LOL

Sorry to all those who couldn't make it this year - maybe next time. I think I owe Rick, Chris, David, and Norri a trip down south sometime - thanks for making the trip fellas!!!

 

I'm jealous. You guys had such a great time in Pittsburgh. I hung near for mom for this one but will be there for the next.
