Default oil pan gasket replacemnet seek advice!!

hey guys I'm doing the head gasket job so I've removed the heads already and loosen the oil pan its hanging now would like to completely remove it so I can change the gasket ..
like to replace oil pan gasket DONT have access to JTIS just the FSM which I'm having a hard time finding the procedure on that !! here is my thinking on doing it :

a) remove rack and pinion leave it hanging with some wire ties .
do I have to loosen the engine mounts ?
also have a engine lift !! can I just run a strap around what's left of
engine to lift it... have already removed heads

Rick posted a how-to on this. Probably in the stickies. If not, search for threads started by JoycesJag with key words Oil pan and it should pop up.

You can download JTIS here for free.
