P0401 Error Code Insufficient EGR Flow Problem

Has anyone had a P0401 error code? Iswapped the DPFE sensor and checked the voltages from the PCM to the DPFE sensor. Is the EGR valvesupposed to have a vacuum line coming off the top of it, maybe I'm missing a vacuum line? Thanks for the help.
I doubt you'll be "missing" a vacuum line, seeing as it won't just walk up and disappear. I believe that this is the hard line that comes from the back of the header to the EGR, it would certainly be the first issue I've seen of this going bad, unless you somehow got it wet when it was hot, or you banged the crap out of it. Then again I "could" be wrong, but I doubt it

You might have a cloged egr passage. Remove egr and clean passages and look at the intake where you removed the EGR and see if the passeges are full of carbon and cloged. Try cleaning and let as little carbon as you can go back in the intake. Put new gasket and new EGR if you want back on and TADA, it should be ok.

Thanks "bigdream05", I just needed to hear it from someone else that the only line is the one hardlinethat goes to the EGR. The EGR was disconnected at the flange when I removed the intake manifold to change the igntional coils on that side anda new gasket was used whenbolting it back to the appropriate torgue spec. I'll check the EGR again "afbcamaro"and get a new gasket. One other note, the fault only shows up after driving the car for about an hour. The only thing I can think of is that when theEGR flange heatsup to a certain point, expansion occursand the seal is failing.
Thanks guys!
