Can anyone tell me how the EPB motor/actuator works? Mine still runs, but it's not drawing in the cable. The parking brake cables are not seized. I tried the reset procedure, which has left me with a contant fault, and I no longer hear the motor attempting to run. Is there a gear inside that strips? I'm just curious if I can repair it or if I have to replace the whole unit.
