Hand Brake Stuck on! Please Help!
Hello Everyone,
My Mum was at the garage last night, for reasons only known to her she for some reason hand her foot pressed on the brake for 5 minutes, then she put the handbrake on and the Hand brake will not not release at all! of course we are now getting parking brake fault We had the have the car brought home last night on a flat bed, any input would be helpful!

The foot thing is irrelevant.
You've left out car details (add them!!) so I'm guessing you have the EPB.
There are lots of possibilities with the EPB, all covered multiple times on here so just read up on them but easily the battery is the biggest suspect.

The easiest fix and first thing to try is to disconnect the negative battery cable only! You might have to loosen the bar that holds the battery in place to get enough slack to move the cable. Wait at least fifteen minutes and then reconnect the negative battery cable. When you disconnect the negative battery like this it resets most of the computers in the car, EPB included. I'll bet the car drives better too. It worked for my 2003 S Type.
