Acutually it did not seem like being broken, just looks like it would be detached.. somehow, I could not attach it firmly like what it was before. What I could do was just attaching it loosely. hm... I have checked several times by looking inside of it to find a mark of being broken if the switch has broken or not, but it did not have any of it.. hm. Should I take this button to an auto shop, and fix it lol..? I feel so sad that my jag has got a scar in it T T

kblood, I think a picture would help in this situation.

 

Let me guess... The switch knob is broken... When you attach it to the switch, it stays on but is very loose... Mine did that when I tried to take the switch knob off to clean behind it. The retaining tabs break. I was honest when I talked to the dealer, so to fix it is my dime. They said they only sell the whole switch. Uggg. So, I live with it for now. I will try to dig up one used out of a 03 and up then try to take it apart very carefully so I can fix mine....

 

Jeff, I am flying blind here, but can you hot glue it back into place?
